In today’s climate of HMO’s, managed care, and other health care managers many patients feel rushed at a doctor’s appointment (receiving 10 to 15 minutes for a visit and at most, 45 minutes for an entire evaluation.) Insurance companies frequently attempt to dictate how long an evaluation should be. The care you receive from Dr. Marie Surpris will not be dictated by the allotted time that insurance companies provide.
Once we have started treatment and Dr. Marie Surpris is your treating physician, it is important to monitor the treatment and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance by having a monthly 30 minute session. In case of emergencies you can always reach Dr. Marie Surpris, the physician who knows your entire history and your treatment best.
